Designed and built during my time at the Vermont Woodworking School, this piece is inspired by Japanese joinery and carpentry, specifically, the Kobeomsuk furniture studio. The central piece is a book-matched Spanish cedar board, surrounded and supported by a walnut frame and base, with Brass accent marks.
