Spalted Maple Epoxy Coffee Table

Designed and built in my parent's garage, this piece is constructed with spalted maple, deep-pour epoxy resin, and brass forged legs. Maple spalting occurs when a maple tree is infected by the White Rot fungi before it is cut down. The fungus infection causes a rare and desirable coloration in the lumber.
